What does hibiscus tea taste like?

Hibiscus is tart and fruity, a bit like cranberry. On its own it can taste sharp, so a little honey and mint balance it.

Use food grade dried hibiscus flowers sold for tea. They are widely used across West Africa and the Caribbean for refreshing drinks.
