This aloe lime cooler is crisp, green and very refreshing. Soft aloe pieces float in a lime and mint base, and sparkling water adds a light fizz.

It takes five minutes and uses only a spoonful of honey. It is a great alternative to soda.

What does aloe vera taste like?

Edible aloe vera has a mild, slightly cucumber-like taste and a soft jelly texture. Most of the flavor in this drink comes from lime and mint.

Use food grade aloe vera gel or aloe cubes sold for drinks. Do not use skin care aloe products.
